A baseball player was suspended 30 games following this cowardly act during a brawl

He deserved it.

Eduard Jimenez has been suspended for 30 games because of his actions in a brawl between his team, the West Michigan Whitecaps, and the Dayton Dragons.

Why? He threw a baseball as hard as he could into the crowd of players that were pushing and shoving.

The brawl started when the Dragons' Jose Siri slid into second base, and he got tangled with Whitecaps shortstop Danny Pereria.  Pereria stepped on Siri's ankle after the play, and a furious Siri pushed Pereria. That started a standard bench clearing, pushing and shoving contest that took a turn when Jimenez charged in and threw the ball.
