Blake Griffin's Massive Child Support Bill Will Make Your Jaw Drop

Blake Griffin might have left Los Angeles in late January, but he has still been in the midst of a seemingly unpleasant paternity case. The good news is that it looks to be over. The bad news for the NBA All-Star forward is it will cost him a lot of money.

According to documents obtained by RadarOnline.com, Griffin, now with the Detroit Pistons, has been ordered to pay $258,000 each month in child support as a result of the case in Los Angeles Superior Court.

That is not a typo. Griffin will pay over $3 million in child support each year.

The documents, per the celebrity gossip blog, say that ex-fiancee and former USC basketball player Brynn Cameron claims Griffin kicked her and the couples two children — Ford (5) and Finn (2) — out of his $12 million house last year.

There is also a separate civil suit where Cameron, who also has another child from a previous relationship with former Heisman Trophy quarterback Matt Leinart, said Griffin called off their engagement after the NBA star began dating Kendall Jenner.

Griffin played for the Los Angeles Clippers for over seven seasons before finishing the 2017-18 season as a member of the Pistons.

So how earth did the number get so high? That's easy. Griffin makes a lot of money, and Cameron claims he is "uber-rich," so he should pay all costs totaling $375,000, which include her attorney's fees.

The court deemed Griffin's annual income at $35 million, and will make over $31.8 million next season in Detroit.

The basketball star had a monthly income of $2.2 million in 2016, per the court documents.

Griffin, according to the RareOnline story, is paying the lease for a five-bedroom house in Manhattan Beach for Cameron and their kids. Griffin and Cameron have joint legal and physical custody.

So the paternity case looks over, and the child support payment will cost Griffin a good chunk of change and put a small dent in his bank account. The civil suit, however, is a completely different story.

That is far from over.
