Brandon Harris got some good news when this player returned to practice

Brandon Harris was sacked five times against Arkansas last week, so if anyone was happy to see starting left tackle Jerald Hawkins return to practice Wednesday, it had to Harris.

Hawkins left No. 15 LSU's 31-14 loss against the Razorbacks (6-4, 4-2 SEC) with ankle injury but according to The Advocate's Ross Dellenger, Les Miles said he expects Hawkins to start against No. 22 Ole Miss Saturday.

If Hawkins can't go, Miles said sophomore KJ Malone could replace him and freshman Toby Weathersby could be in the mix at right guard, according to Dellenger. Malone played 46 snaps against Arkansas and has seen action in every game this season, so if Miles doesn't move center Ethan Pocic to left tackle, Malone is a safe bet to start if Hawkins sits out.
