Cotton Bowl gave us the most useless trick play in college football bowl history

What the heck was this?

Western Michigan is trying to show it belongs with the big boys during their Cotton Bowl matchup with Wisconsin.

In the third quarter, down seven, the unbeaten Broncos attempted a pretty wild trick play for a meager gain of about five yards.

Wisconsin couldn't take advantage after getting the ball back, but would intercept Zach Terrell to take over deep in Broncos territory early in the fourth.
