Defense is why the media has SEC bias, and this stat proves it

Now that's impressive.

There are many people out there who think the SEC is a little too cozy with ESPN and that the conference gets more attention than it deserves. It also helps that the SEC owned the BCS Championship when it was running and that a team from the conference has made the College Football Playoff every year of its existence.

However, this stat shows that the SEC deserves every ounce of attention it gets, especially if people are living the axiom of "defense wins championships."

What's the most amazing part is that Alabama's defense has given up 40 less than the next team!
