Eddie Lacy built his family a home after being displaced by Hurricane Katrina

When Hurricane Katrina struck, Eddie Lacy's family was hit by the devastating natural disaster and they were forced to leave their home behind.

Once growing up in Gretna, La., Lacy and his family bounced around before renting a trailer in Geismar, La., while he developed into a high school standout, and eventually a professional football player with the Green Bay Packers.

Now in the NFL, Lacy has focused on making life better for his parents, so he had a house built for them.
