Florida has been in desperate need of a good kicker for a few years now and finally got one with the commitment of JUCO kicker Eddy Pineiro. Jim McElwain and his staff were pretty stoked when Pineiro told them he was committing and for good reason. He can hit 62-yard field goals!
And he looks like he's settled in pretty nicely too.
I think Florida fans can agree that pretty much any kicker will be better than what they've experienced the past couple years. It got to the point where there were open tryouts! Now just hitting that field goal consistently will be the key for Pineiro and Florida.
