Losingest head coach in NFL history reportedly planning return to league

Will anyone hire him?

Former Tennessee Titans and Los Angeles Rams head coach Jeff Fisher reportedly wants to make a return to the NFL, according to Mike Jurecki of 98.7 FM in Phoenix.

According to Jurecki, Fisher, who was paid a $16 million buyout after being fired by the Rams during the middle of last season, is eyeing the Cleveland Browns, Chicago Bears and Indianapolis Colts as potential coaching opportunities.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora previously wrote that the former coach had a desire to make his NFL return last month.

Fisher, 60, owns a 173-165-1 career record, making him the losingest head coach in NFL history and hasn't finished with a record above .500 since 2008, which resulted in a 13-3 record with the Titans.

He has since gone 45-63-1 during six seasons with Tennessee and the Rams.

Fisher has a 5-6 career playoff record, which included leading the Titans to an AFC Championship and appearance in Super Bowl XXXIV, which resulted in a loss to the then-St. Louis Rams.
