Joey Bosa Carted Off, in Tears After Suffering Foot Injury

Los Angeles Chargers All-Pro pass-rusher Joey Bosa suffered a foot injury early in Sunday's game in Green Bay against the Packers, and was in tears while being carted off the field and into the locker room.

Officially, the Chargers list Bosa as similar to return to Sunday's game.

However, Bosae rode the cart with a towel draped over his head while overcome by the emotion of suffering the injury in the first quarter, and the injury appeared to be significant.

The Chargers didn't waste any time getting Bosa into the locker room, as he forewent the trip into the blue medical tent and got right onto the cart, after limping to the sideline.

Bosa, 28, entered Sunday's contest with 6.5 sacks as a pivotal member along the Chargers' front-seven.

Through the first eight games of this season, Bosa produced 20 total tackles, six tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Injuries have been a nagging factor in Bosa's career, as the veteran has missed 31 of his possible 124 games, since being drafted No. 3 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Through 93 career games played, Bosa has produced 321 total tackles with 67 sacks, 82 tackles for loss, 15 forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.

If Bosa is forced to miss significant time, beyond Sunday's game, it would be a major blow to the Chargers' flickering postseason hopes down the stretch of the regular season. Los Angles entered Sunday's action at 4-5, on the outside looking in of the current AFC Playoff picture.

With 1:22 remaining in the first quarter, the Chargers led the Packers 3-0, in a must-win game for head coach Brandon Staley's team.
