Mississippi just had its worst week of college football ever

That's not great.

Ole Miss and Mississippi State weren't the only teams to take a fall in football this week.

Usually when the major colleges in a state all lose, it's not that big of a deal. Usually one of the smaller or less notable colleges cleans up and gets a win to prevent the entire state from feeling complete football embarrassment.

Unless your are Mississippi, who had all 10 of their major four-year colleges suffer losses this week.

In addition to Ole Miss and Mississippi State, Southern Miss, Jackson State, Millsap, Alcorn State, Delta State, Mississippi College, Belhaven, and Mississippi Valley all lost this week. The whole state literally pitched an 0-fer.

Yikes.

Luckily for Mississippi, it's all up from here. They can't do this two weeks in a row... right?
