Former five-star transfer Mitchell Robinson reportedly down to Kansas and one shocking school

Seriously?

Former five-star center and Western Kentucky freshman Mitchell Robinson is on the lookout for a new school to transfer to for this upcoming season. He just took a surprise visit to the University of New Orleans as well as LSU and Kansas. The Tigers are believed to be out of the running for Robinson while Robinson is reportedly down to UNO and KU according to NOLA.com.

The 7-foot, 222-pound center originally committed to WKU because his godfather was an assistant coach there, but he left and so Robinson decided it was time for him to go as well. Robinson was the No. 11 overall recruit in the class of 2017 according to ESPN.

The biig man attended two weeks of summer school at WKU and he will have to apply for a waiver from the NCAA in order to participate in the upcoming season. He can not apply for a waiver until he signs with his next school. This is not normal at all so there's no real basis to say if he will likely be granted the waiver or not so we will have to wait until he makes his decision as well.
