The No. 21 ranked offensive tackle in the country has made his verbal commitment. Four-star recruit Caleb Chandler (6-foot-5, 300 pounds, Brunswick, Ga.) announced his verbal commitment over the weekend, and given the amount of big-time offers he has, it came at a little bit of a surprise. Chandler announced over the weekend that he would not be attending Georgia who extended him a scholarship offer, and committing to Iowa State instead.
Chandler was on campus in Athens as recently as June 13 for the Bulldogs' football camp. Being able to swing Chandler away from Georgia and get him to commit all the way out west to Iowa State is a big win for head coach Matt Campbell.
