Washington Commanders quarterback Sam Howell was forced into the blue medical tent, after absorbing a series of hits near the goal line on one of the craziest touchdown runs you'll see.
Sunday afternoon against the New York Giants, Howell streaked for the end zone, where he bounced off of three defenders along the goal line, before safety Xavier McKinney violently threw him to the ground out of bounds on a play that was ruled an eight-yard touchdown.

Howell's touchdown run was true to character from what people around the Commanders have seen from their young quarterback.
"Unflappable, certainly tough, and I think he's got great arm talent," Washington defensive coordinator Del Rio said recently. "I think he can layer the ball. I think he can throw the deep ball. I think he can throw a touch. He's a good player. He's doing a nice job. I'm excited about the way he's trending for us right now. And certainly, for him and his future."
McKinney's hit sparked a shoving match along the sideline that saw Giants cornerback Cor'Dale Flott and Commanders wide receiver Curtis Samuel both ejected from the game.
Howell, who is likely auditioning for the role as Washington's long-term starting quarterback, entered Sunday's action as the NFL's leading passer with 2,783 yards, while passing for 17 touchdowns to just nine interceptions.
Shortly after the hit, and spending time getting examined by the Commanders' medical staff, Howell returned to the game. Through the first half of Sunday's game, Howell completed 13-of-18 passing attempts for 115 yards with an interception, while rushing for 16 yards and one rushing score.
At halftime, the Giants held a 14-9 lead over the Commanders, buoyed by touchdown receptions by running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver Darius Slayton.
