Bo Jackson was built different.
The former Auburn Tigers running back and baseball star would do things that would make you double take— snap bats like toothpicks, launch home runs into space, impress presidents or bulldoze defenders on the gridiron. It was all just another day at the office for him.
He was must-watch TV.
Jackson's jaw-dropping plays made him a wizard, and he proved it when he turned a routine fly ball into a scene from "The Flintstones".

The Kansas City Royals are facing the Baltimore Orioles in a regular-season Major League Baseball (MLB) game in 1990. Orioles outfielder Joe Orsulak smacks a pitch into left center.
The speedy Jackson sprints from his spot in center field to make the running catch. Bo knows his legs move with too much power to abruptly halt.
He almost falls, picks himself up, and runs onto the outfield wall to release all the momentum.
Wait, what?
Is that Spider-Man playing center? No, it's Bo, and Bo knows he can do things athletically that shouldn't be humanly possible. Everyone from the announcers to the fans in the stadium loved it.

I'm flabbergasted by this play for two reasons. One, Bo effortlessly robs Orsulak of double. Two, who in their right mind would even think about attempting to run on the wall?
I would've face planted and laid there contemplating life on the warning track.
The only way this play could've been better is if he sat on top of the wall and rested for a few seconds. Pretty selfish of him to rob us of that iconic moment, if you ask me.
The play only strengthens Bo's argument as the greatest athlete of all time. He dominated college football. He made a mockery of NFL defenses on the Los Angeles Raiders, and he was Spider-Man in his spare time. For all we know, the Nike athlete and 1985 Heisman Trophy winner could've made the NBA and locked down Michael Jordan.
I wouldn't put it past him.
