Dancing Mom Embarrasses Her Son on Stadium Jumbotron

In the early dog days of summer, with football usually months away and baseball only mildly heating up, the sports world clings onto the little things to provide entertainment. It's almost a habit out of desperation.

Tom Brady signed a 19-year-old college kid's forearm and she got it tattooed. Nick Saban talked about HBO's Game of Thrones. Jimbo Fisher spent a lot of money on a calf.

These are real-life sports things that happened during the 2018 offseason. Oh, how times have changed, right?

One fan that probably isn't happy still? The teenager next to the dancing mom sensation at Petco Park in San Diego, California.

This kid was just not having it at all.

The San Diego Padres were rather terrible the season before, so it's not like it was a full stadium at all, but the young fan could have done without his parents — assuming those are his parents — just trying to have a little fun on a Monday night.

Chances are he is even more embarrassed that the video went viral.

But let's break down four best possible reasons why he was not having it, assuming that was his mom dancing:

— There is a likelihood he simply didn't want to be at this game at all. Maybe he just wanted to stay at home and play Fortnite, or whatever else the kids do these days, and his parents forced him to go for some good family fun at a Major League Baseball game.

— Anything a parent does that might seem like an attempt to be cool is not something you want to be a part of as a teenager. This makes the most sense, really. His mom was just ready to start dancing, and it would not win this dude any popularity points for joining in on the fun.

— Perhaps he doesn't know the song. Flo Rida's "Low" came out a decade ago, and sadly, there is a real probability he is unfamiliar. This might be a painful reality, but let's hope the first two are more likely for everyone's sanity. Then again, if you are allowed to wear a Top Gun t-shirt to a MLB game, and if you are actually familiar with the movie, then you should know the hits when mom and dad were raising you.

— The Padres were terrible. The worst in the National League, actually. They also gave up three runs in the first inning that night to the San Francisco Giants. This game at San Diego's Petco Park was doomed from the start and the kid was not happy about another loss.

It's safe to say this kid was looking forward to football season more than ever.

Then again, when your mom is that attractive, and she shows off her dance moves at a Padres game, you probably look for as many outs as possible.
