High School Play of the Week: Preston Harrison with a tremendous kickoff return

Preston Harrison (ATH) from West Iredell High School in North Carolina earns honors as the high school play of the week for this amazing kickoff return.

The opposing team clearly wanted to avoid kicking it to Harrison and utilized a squib kick, but a heads up play by on of the up-men to pitch it back to him led to a great return.

After taking the pitch, Harrison tries the left-side of the field but gets bottled up.

That’s him getting hit by two members of the coverage team.

He makes a terrific spin move to get out of that tackle before reversing field and taking it up the middle. He makes more defenders miss in the middle of the field and gets a nice block on the kicker before cutting back further and scoring a touchdown all the way to the right side of the field.

It’s been quite the week for High School football content, as we’ve seen the best post-game speech ever and an extra point get banked in off an opponents helmet.
