With the Finals here relive one of the greatest games ever from Michael Jordan

Relive one of the greatest games of our time.

The legend of the "Flu Game" is known large and wide by everyone who knows anything about basketball. Chicago Bulls guard and living legend Michael Jordan came down with a terrible flu the night before Game 5 of the NBA Finals in 1997. It was so bad that he was sweating and when his personal trainer came up to check on him he was in a fetal position and couldn't even sit up.

All of the Bulls' trainers said that there was no way he could play in the game the next day, but not only did he play, he dominated. He finished with 38 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. Jordan didn't start the game very well looking lethargic and slow, but picked up the play in the second half to come back from a 29-16 deficit after the first quarter.

The end result was a 90-88 win for the Bulls that would propel them to win Game 6 as well and give them their fifth of six rings they would eventually win. The game has gone down in NBA history as one of the greatest displays of perseverance and has added to the legacy of His Airness, Michael Jordan.
