Former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Brodie Croyle enjoyed a solid tenure in Tuscaloosa, though he could never replicate his success in the NFL.
While he was never a walking highlight reel during his playing days at Bama, Croyle proved he was a capable quarterback.
Unfortunately his NFL career was far less impressive, and he ultimately retired after just five seasons in the league. So, where is Croyle now?
Early Life and College Football Career

Brodie Croyle is the son of former Alabama Crimson Tide defensive end and linebacker John Croyle. He grew up in Rainbow City, Ala., just over 60 miles outside of Birmingham, and attended Westbrook Christian High School where he became an All-American quarterback.
He was a highly coveted high school football player, with 247Sports ranking him as the second-overall recruit in the country and the No. 1 quarterback, giving him a five-star rating.
Despite the allure of playing at Florida State under Mark Richt, Croyle opted to follow in his father's footsteps and attend the University of Alabama, although head coach Mike DuBose had just been let go.
At Alabama, Croyle played under head coach Dennis Franchione as a freshman. Franchione was replaced by Mike Price briefly, but ultimately the head coaching gig landed with Mike Shula, who mentored Croyle for the following three seasons.
Croyle threw for 6,382 passing yards, 41 touchdowns and 22 interceptions across four seasons, though he missed most of his junior campaign after suffering a serious knee injury.
Following his senior year at Alabama, during which the Tide won the Cotton Bowl over Texas Tech, Croyle pursued a professional football career. He graduated as the most prolific passer in Alabama history at the time and owned several passing records.

Brodie Croyle was drafted in the third round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He never managed to lock down a starting role in KC, serving primarily as the backup quarterback to Damon Huard.
Croyle was named KC's starting quarterback in 2008, but suffered an injury in Week 1. He managed to return for the Chiefs' Week 7 clash against the Tennessee Titans, but was once again injured.
Across five seasons in Kansas City, Croyle started 10 games, losing all 10, and threw eight touchdowns to nine interceptions.
Following the 2010 campaign during which he made just 19 pass attempts, Croyle signed with the Arizona Cardinals but never played in a game, ultimately retiring in 2011.

Croyle has kept busy in life after football. Now 39, Croyle is the President & CEO at Big Oak Ranch, once again following in his father's footsteps, who held that same role for 40 years.
Big Oak Ranch aims to assist abused, neglected and abandoned children by giving them a home and enabling them to practice Christianity.
Big Oak Ranch has a boys ranch, located in Gadsden, and a girls ranch, which is located in Springville. Big Oak Ranch has 25 staff members and 15 sets of house parents, whom the children in-need stay with.
There are almost 150 children involved in the Big Oak Ranch program.

Croyle has married to wife Kelli Schultz, and they have two sons named Sawyer and Luke together. They also seem to consider the hundreds of kids under the watch of Big Oak Ranch as family.
