Carson Palmer scored four touchdowns and orchestrated a game-winning drive in the final minute, to help the Cardinals secure a 34-31 win over the Bengals Sunday night.
The former No. 1 overall pick passed for 317 yards, four TDs and two interceptions against the team that drafted him back in 2003. Palmer came up big in the clutch, completing three quick passes in the span of 57 seconds, to set up the game-winning 32-yard field goal by Chandler Catanzaro with two seconds left.
Palmer was fined $11,576 this week for a celebratory pelvic thrust but after the game he had against Cincinnati (8-2), Arizona’s (8-2) signal caller should be allowed to celebrate anyway he sees fit.
