After the brutal 45-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, it seems the end may be near for Eagles coach Chip Kelly.
Philadelphia has been experiencing issues on both offense and defense all season, but the players aren’t completely at fault. The coaching staff puts them in situations that set them up to fail, including one instance from Sunday that Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer touched on.
To make it worse, Kelly decided that a field goal was appropriate while his team was down three scores at the end of a hopeless game.
The Eagles, who are now 4-6, seem to be regressing every year when they should be improving. This says a lot about Kelly’s inadequacy as a coach and general manager.
