After injuries have plagued the Dallas Cowboys’ running back depth, the team finally got good news Saturday.
According to The Dallas Morning News, running back Darren McFadden rejoined the Cowboys Saturday after missing all of training camp thus far:
“It’s very hard. I’m the type of guy who wants to be out there with my teammates and seeing how they grind the way they do, I want to be out there and be a part of that,” McFadden said. “I’m happy to be back out there on the field and I’m just looking forward to getting out there and just being better every day.”
McFadden will instantly be the top back for now, and he’s expected to battle with Joseph Randle and Lance Dunbar for the starting spot.
