But fans' attention was momentarily diverted away from the game — at least on social media. Several people expressed their disappointment with Sunday Night Football analyst, Cris Collinsworths' commentary, which has become a weekly tradition.

"Am I the only one that mutes the TV and uses SiriusXM to listen to the game when Chris Collinsworth is casting? Good grief. I'd rather sit on a nail-spiked bag than listen to him cast games. I feel like I get upset and more upset as the game goes listening to him," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Oh Christ we have Cris Collinsworth calling the game tonight," another user added.

Joe Burrow Gets Honest on Bengals Trade Deadline Moves

The playoffs aren't completely out of reach for Cincinnati. The front office did firm up their roster at the NFL trade deadline earlier this month,  making a move to land running back Khalil Herbert from the Chicago Bears. Burrow says that seeing the franchise make moves at the deadline reassures that the front office still believes that the team can make some noise in the second half of the season.

"That shows that they believe in the players on this team to go and do what we want to do this year,Burrow said. "Maybe there were holes here and there but they wanted to go out and improve the team for this stretch, and that's exciting and positive for our team."

The Bengals quarterback also noted that the move is a step in the right direction because the team can now lessen the workload of starting running back, Chase Brown.

"We'll see what his role ends up being. Just [being able to] take some carries off Chase (Brown)," Burrow added.

"He had 27 carries last week, played great, played great in the past game too. So now maybe throw in a couple of runs here and there, a couple of passes to take the load off Chase a little bit."
