Aaron Rodgers Sounds Off After Jets Fire Robert Saleh

The Bills, Jets, Dolphins, and Patriots have a combined seven wins this season. With the Jets at 2-3 and the Bills at 3-2, a win by the Jets could move them to first place as they would own the tie-breaker. But a loss would move them to a 2-4 record which, would be a steep hole to climb out of. They had a new look coming into their matchup with the Bills as Robert Saleh is no longer on the Jets sideline. Following his termination, Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers says that the spotlight is now on the players.

"When something like this happens, it's a reset for everybody. When you make a change on the offense, it's a mirror that's held up for all of us who played and we all feel terrible about the opportunity that we had, that we squandered, that led to Robert getting fired and Hack getting demoted," Rodgers said.

"I play better, this doesn't happen. We play better on offense, this doesn't happen. So I think it puts a spotlight on us, and now it's on us to do this. You know, we need to be accountable to each other. We got to raise the level of our play to the standard that we set during training camp."
