Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo caught the full brunt of social media cruelty when an awkward photo showed him looking rather plump heading into training camp.
Of course, the jokes aimed at the 36-year-old quarterback turned out to be unwarranted, and he seems to be getting back into the full swing of things as training camp continues into August.

Coming off a broken collarbone that limited him to just four games and still healing from back surgery in 2013, Romo said he feels as good as he's ever felt.
From DallasCowboys.com:
"Yeah, it's the best offseason I've had in a long time. Just to be able to do all the stuff you're not always able to do. Obviously, camp is a lot more days in a row. We had three days in a row during the offseason when we have OTAs and so this first part was four, we thought we'd get a day in (of rest Sunday) and then go from there each week and reassess it. Everything has been going good. We've just got to keep getting stronger and keep getting better."
Romo went on to compliment rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott in his handling on the adjustment to NFL life as well as he and Dez Bryant's on-field continuity. If these three can get things rolling, the sky is the limit for Big D.
