Furious Antonio Gates appeared to threaten Philip Rivers during sideline meltdown Sunday

At the tail end of a six-game losing streak, tempers have begun to flare in San Diego.

After the Chargers settled for a field goal in the second quarter, veteran tight end Antonio Gates went at quarterback Philip Rivers with what looked like a promise that he’d beat his you know what after the two were involved in a shouting match.

The two pinned frustrations boiling over on losing after the 33-3 beatdown, and surely the duo can’t wait for next week with an opportunity to get back on track against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
