Here are the Madden cover finalists

Now that the NFL draft is over, we need to focus on much more important things — like choosing who will grace the cover of Madden 16. EA Sports has narrowed down the field down to four contestants.

New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown and Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson are the four finalists.

I think this vote comes down to Beckham and Gronkowski. Brown and Peterson are fantastic players, but they don’t have the popularity like the other two players do.

Beckham was a mythical creature last season. We haven’t seen anyone make one-handed catches look so easy until he came along, and it helps that he made one of the greatest catches of all-time. Gronkowski is in the news every week it seems like. Whether he is flirting with a reporter about her Valentine’s Day plans, or saying President Obama was wasted or reading an erotic novel during Super Bowl Media Day. Not to mention, he is one of the best offensive players in the game. I don’t care which team you like, but it’s really hard to hate Gronk because he is just so goofy.

I think it’s Gronk’s contest to lose, though I would not be surprised if Beckham beat him out.
