Key member of Super Bowl champion Patriots reportedly signs on with NFC squad

He will turn 30 in December.

Former New England Patriot LeGarrette Blount won't be returning to Foxborough this season.

According to ESPN, he has agreed on a one-year deal with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The move comes after the Patriots re-signed running back Brandon Bolden and brought over Mike Gillislee to compete with Dion Lewis and James White.

Blount led the NFL in rushing touchdowns with 18 last season, running for more than 1,000 yards on the season.

Blount will turn 30 in December, but is coming off the best year of his career.

He has played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Pittsburgh Steelers over his tenure.
