Report: "More likely than not" Kirk Cousins leaves Redskins for former Super Bowl contender

He could have a favorite.

Kirk Cousins may be the prime free agent target this summer assuming the Washington Redskins don't tag him for a third consecutive time (which would cost them $34 million).

Cousins already has potential suitors in the Jaguars and Browns, but one reporter has heard the gunslinger may very well end up with the Denver Broncos.

Super Bowl MVP Von Miller previously talked up Cousins after electrifying play by the quarterback.

Cousins has been through the ringer in contract negotiations with the Redskins, which Washington has been unwilling to stand down from, hitting him with the franchise tag over and again.

The veteran quarterback is a one-time Pro Bowler. Selected in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft, and served in a backup role to Robert Griffin III before eventually taking over as full-time starter.

In six seasons, Cousins is 26-30-1 with 2,096 yards passing, 99 touchdowns and 55 interceptions.
