New England Patriots could clinch the division as soon as Week 12

The New England Patriots are rolling right along, and as evidence of how dominant they’ve been, the team has an opportunity to close up the division as soon as next week.

All it would takes is wins in the next two contests (against the Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos) and a New York Jets loss to the Miami Dolphins.

The Patriots could have a full first-round bye clinched with wins in their next four games (wins against the Bills, Broncos, Philadelphia Eagles and Houston Texans.)

With that kind of slate, losing a game looks less and less likely by the week.
