Apparently Jets fans were telling Ryan Fitzpatrick to stop being 'so greedy'

Some fans apparently weren't happy with how the quarterback handled things.

New York Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick's holdout on a contract starting in March resulted in him signing a $12 million deal for one year. The holdout reportedly wasn't a good thing for Jets fans, as the quarterback revealed to the New York Daily News that some told him to stop being so greedy

"Yeah, some of them were trying to feel it out and like buddy me up to get the answer," Fitzpatrick said, via Seth Walder of the New York Daily News. 'What's really going on with the situation?' They wanted my agent's number. Some of them were telling me I need to sign. 'Stop being so greedy.'"

The holdout worked, though, with the Jets announcing Fitzpatrick's deal on Wednesday. Sometimes, it works to wait for what you want, apparently.
