NFL Power Rankings: The Dolphins and Eagles Keep Winning, As Week 3 Losses Rattle the NFL

And then there were two.

After an exciting week of NFL football, the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles are the only teams that remained undefeated. We saw upsets, we saw blowouts, and we saw two safeties that were each one of a kind, in their own way. One caused their team to lose, and the other darn near did the same thing.

But with all of this we have some big shake ups all through our power rankings AND we have a new king sitting atop the other 31 teams. Can you guess who?

1. Miami Dolphins (3-0)

The Dolphins offense won them their Week 2 game, but it was their defense that stood tall against Josh Allen and the Bills in Week 3, leaving Miami as the lone undefeated team in the AFC.

2. Buffalo Bills (2-1)

A tough loss is always good at the beginning of the season and the Bills still have plenty of games ahead of them to show why they're the top team in the NFL.

3. Philadelphia Eagles (3-0)

The Eagles dominated in the first half on both sides of the ball as they did in their first two games. Simpy put, the Birds are for real this year and it's time to put Jalen Hurts in the MVP conversation.

4. Kansas City Chiefs (2-1)

The Chiefs looked out-of-sorts on Sunday, but don't worry Red Kingdom, you still have Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid. No need to get anxious over one game.

5. Los Angeles Rams (2-1)

Stats-wise, you would have thought the Rams lost on Sunday but in fact did the opposite and picked up their second straight win, beating the Cardinals 20 to 12. A Lateral move for the reigning Super Bowl champs.

6. Baltimore Ravens (2-1)

Lamar Jackson is playing out of his mind in the first three games of his contract season. Now, if his defense could maybe provide a little more support, that would be great.

7. Green Bay Packers (2-1)

The Packers offense still looks like it needs to build some chemistry, but their defense is leading the way so far in 2022. Hopefully, Green Bay's defensive exploits can continue to float the team while the offense gets back on track.

8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-1)

Injuries and a ridiculous suspension had the Bucs offense looking inconsistent on Sunday, but just like Green Bay, their defense is playing exceptionally well three weeks into the season.

9. Minnesota Vikings (2-1)

The Vikings bounced back with a much-needed win against the Lions. However,   after his huge Week 1 performance, Justin Jefferson was held to under 50 yards and zero touchdowns for second consecutive week. Something to look into if you're Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell.

10. Jacksonville Jaguars (2-1)

The Jaguars are legit. From Trevor Lawrence and their offense, to their solid defense, head coach Doug Pederson has the Jags are clicking on all cylinders. Look at it this way, the Jags were just a bad fourth quarter from being 3-0. Think about it.

11. Denver Broncos (2-1)

Russell Wilson's start in Denver has not gone as he, or many of us, expected. The offense is not putting up many points but regardless of that, Denver has rattled off two straight wins.

12. Los Angeles Chargers (1-2)

The injuries keep piling up for the Chargers and Sunday's game should bring some concern but this is a team to win now, so don't count them out yet.

13. Cleveland Browns (2-1)

Jacoby Brissett is doing a good job thus far, and the run game of Chubb and Hunt is darn near unstoppable. If this continues, the team could have a fair record when Deshaun Watson takes over.

14. Cincinnati Bengals (1-2)

The Super Bowl slump comes to an end, for now, as Joe Burrow and the Bengals pick up win number one on the 2022 season. Also, that WAS a catch by Tee Higgins.

15. San Francisco 49ers (1-2)

The defense is playing as expected and the 49ers weapons have been playing well, so who would've thought the QB would be their issue...literally everyone, actually.

16. Arizona Cardinals (1-2)

It must be tough to be an Arizona Cardinals fan but again, this is not a time to press panic as four to five of their next six games they should be favored to win.

17. Dallas Cowboys (2-1)

Cooper Rush deserves a lot of credit for these two straight wins but they leading force so far for the Cowboys is their defense, which is very odd to say given what it was just a couple seasons ago.

18. New England Patriots (1-2)

The Patriots looked good on Sunday despite the loss, but if Mac Jones misses too many games, what can we expect from them going forward? A phone call to Cam?

19. Indianapolis Colts (1-1-1)

The Colts have had such a wild season and it is only three weeks in. They tie the Texans, get shutout by the Jags, but somehow beat the Chiefs and hold them under 20 points.

20. Tennessee Titans (1-2)

Tennessee picked up a big win for their first win of the season but it came with a loss as starting offensive tackle Taylor Lewan has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

21. New Orleans Saints (1-2)

This Saints team just isn't meshing all that well. Aside from their fourth quarter comeback in Week 1, they have looked flat and inconsistent thus far.

22. Las Vegas Raiders (0-3)

This is a bit concerning...for this season. Remember, their offseason moves were for now AND the future, so be patient Raiders' fans.

23. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-2)

Mitchell Trubisky and the offensive coordinator are the issue. This offense looks terrible and it is a time for a change. *Insert Kenny Picket*

24. New York Giants (2-1)

Saquon Barkley continued to his comeback season with another good game Monday night, but he is going to have to take even more on going forward with injuries and drama at the receiver position.

25. Chicago Bears (2-1)

It was against the Texans but the Bears won on Sunday. However, their 23 pass completions through three games are wild and these wins won't happen any more if they cannot get Fields going.

26. Detroit Lions (1-2)

Another heartbreak for the Lions as they had a lead late in the fourth quarter. But this team is promising and are just a few plays and players away from getting it right.

27. Washington Commanders (1-2)

Carson Wentz hasn't been terrible but he also hasn't been great but he also hasn't been upright as much as he should as he was sacked nine times on Sunday. If this keeps up, we might see Sam Howell.

28. Carolina Panthers (1-2)

A win is a win but there are still so many things that are wrong with his Carolina team. But they are young and have a ton of talent to build around.

29. New York Jets (1-2)

The Jets are just a bad franchise. Players and coaches arguing on the sideline, turnovers, and inconsistent play are going to have New York fans in another heartbreak feeling like they've been in for the last decade.

30. Houston Texans (0-2-1)

This Texans team is going to be very good in the future if they continue to draft well. They already have three rookies playing exceptional football just three games into their careers.

31. Atlanta Falcons (1-2)

The Falcons actually won, and they move up one spot ONLY because they beat the one team that is now sitting behind them.

32. Seattle Seahawks (1-2)

Rebuild mode is starting show. Geno Smith is still balling out but one can only question on how long that will last once Seattle gets into the heart of their schedule.
