Wide receiver Davante Adams and quarterback Aaron Rodgers were teammates on the Green Bay Packers for eight years together, and they are known as being one of the most prolific duos in recent memory.
Rodgers was asked about his former teammate while practicing ahead of the American Century celebrity golf tournament.
"I love Davante [Adams] and I can't wait to play with him... again," said Rodgers.
While on the show, 'Get Up,' ESPN's Dan Orlovsky elaborated on the former Packers WR/QB teaming up for a second time.
"I think Davante Adams plays for the Jets this season," Orlovsky said Tuesday. "The reason why I say that is this: Have you watched Netflix, the 'Receiver' stuff, have you seen the frustration from Davante Adams? It's not that much better of a situation (now.) The only reason it wouldn't happen is if he would feel bad about leaving Antonio Pierce, their new head coach."
Dan Orlovsky: "I think this a done deal. At some point, Davante Adams plays for the Jets this season."
Greeny: "How do I make that my ring tone?... I want Dan saying that to be my ringtone."

Every Jets fan is drooling over the possible arrival of Adams, if he is able to leave the Las Vegas Raiders. To note, the superstar receiver signed a five-year $140 million dollar contract in 2022, so he won't be a free agent until the 2027 season.
Nevertheless, there is no doubt that Adams wants a new change of scenery, as the Raiders haven't had a decent quarterback to get him the ball ever since he forced his way out of Green Bay following contract disputes.
On the Netflix series 'Receiver,' Adams opened up about the Raiders quarterback problems, as he hasn't exactly had anyone of Rodger's caliber throwing him the ball, with names like Derek Carr, Jarrett Stidham, Aidan O'Connell, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Brian Hoyer being his QB's the past two seasons.
A six-time Pro Bowler, Adams had 622 catches for 7,590 receiving yards to go along with 69 touchdowns in 108 career games with Rodgers. To compare, in two seasons on the Raiders, Adams has 203 catches for 2,660 yards and 22 touchdowns.
All in all, fans would love to see the Rodgers-Adams tandem back together again.
