Nick Sirianni Talks Trash on The Field Before Eagles vs. 49ers

The war of words ahead of Sunday's monumental NFC clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers has been ongoing since the final whistle of January's NFC Championship Game, but Nick Sirianni threw gasoline on the fire moments before kickoff.

Prior to Sunday's game at Lincoln Financial Field, that could ultimately prove to be a deciding factor in the venue for next month's NFC title game, Sirianni was caught by the FOX broadcast cameras talking some trash of his own.

Sirianni was clearly fired up about something, yelling in the direction of the 49ers' coaching staff and players who were warming up for Sunday afternoon's game.

A major battle in the war of words was 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel calling Eagles cornerback James Bradberry "Trash," which seemed to motivate Eagles players ahead of Sunday's clash.

Prior to landing in South Philadelphia for Sunday's game, 49ers All-Pro linebacker Fred Warner expressed his regret over how some of his teammates had handled the championship game loss, and the resulting months of trash talk.

"People are going to jump to what happened last year, in the NFC championship game," Warner said on his podcast, The Warner House. "I'm kind of over that whole thing. I know some of our players, throughout the offseason, were saying stuff about it. I honestly wish we hadn't. You can sit there and make the excuse about the whole Brock [Purdy] situation, blah blah blah. At the end of the day, they beat us. They earned that."

Whoever wins Sunday's game will have plenty of momentum towards potentially ultimately winning the No. 1 seed in the NFC.

The Eagles and 49ers kickoff at 4:25 at Lincoln Financial Field.
