"No question" this NFL general manager is already on the hot seat, per report

With just three full-time starters drafted over his tenure, he could be done sooner rather than later.

Four years after getting to the Super Bowl, the San Francisco 49ers can't get much lower than they are. After finishing 8-8 and 5-11 in back-to-back seasons, the Niners are 1-4 on the season and look absolutely dreadful.

And thanks to general manager Trent Baalke's poor track record in terms of drafting and his lack of acquisitions through free agency, the Niners head guy is reportedly on the hot seat, per CSN Bay Area.

"The biggest problem with how the team is constructed is that the 2016 49ers have the same weaknesses at the 2015 49ers. When last season ended, it was apparent the 49ers needed upgrades at quarterback, wide receiver and pass-rusher.

With tons of salary cap room, the only veteran addition to the team came with the free-agent signing of guard Zane Beadles. Then, the 49ers traded back into the end of the first round to select guard Joshua Garnett, who found himself on the sideline for the first five games of the season."

With just three full-time starters drafted over Baalke's six-year tenure, he could be shipped out sooner rather than later.
