Robert Griffin III could have as many as 8 suitors, according to NFL beat writers

There shouldn't be a lack of options.

Robert Griffin III is expected to join Johnny Manziel as one of this summer's hottest NFL free agent commodities.

Unlike the former Texas A&M product, there seems to be heavy interest in the Washington Redskins quarterback.

According to ESPN team beat guys, the Philadelphia Eagles are slated to have "high" interest in RGIII. Teams with "medium" interest include the Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Los Angeles Rams.

The former Heisman trophy winner joins Manziel as a potential target for the Rams.

Philadelphia would certainly be an interesting fit despite the firing of Chip Kelly. Tyrod Taylor was explosive in his first year in Buffalo, but Griffin III has a higher ceiling overall. He could be a successor in Denver or Chicago, but Griffin III would vie for the starting gig in Cleveland and Houston. He could give Alex Smith a run for his money, if healthy, in Kansas City.

While Dallas is not on this list, beat writer Todd Archer notes the Cowboys could draft a quarterback early in the NFL Draft. If Dallas doesn't, there would likely be more interest in Griffin III than Manziel.

Griffin III is a talented quarterback with no known off-field issues. Paired with a troublesome knee, key injuries and uneven play, the former top-3 pick fell out of favor in Washington.

We'll soon find out where RGIII takes his talents next.
