Tempers flair after brutal hit nearly takes Darren Sproles' head off during Redskins-Eagles

Awful.

The rivalry between the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles is not a friendly one, and fans were reminded of that Sunday evening.

While attempting to field a punt, Eagles' electric back Darren Sproles got completely laid out by Deshazor Everett. As Sproles laid on the ground, the two teams scuffled a bit.

Sproles laid on the ground for a bit before he was able to walk off the field on his own.

Sproles took to Twitter after the contest to let fans know he was doing well.
