The Denver Broncos are clearly moving on from Manning if this report is true

Bad news for one man is certainly good news for another.

There have been reports that Peyton Manning might be heading even further west to Los Angeles to play with the Rams and the Denver Broncos seem just fine with that. The Broncos reportedly didn't even ask Manning to take a physical because they plan on extending backup Brock Osweiler's contract.

The Denver Post says that the Broncos like Osweiler so much that they are willing to give him more than the Rams did for Nick Foles —- a deal upwards of $12.27 million. However, Osweiler has until March 9 to sign the extension and if he doesn't he can become a free agent.

Osweiler may find himself wanting to test the free agent market considering how much Sam Bradford and Kirk Cousins are set to make. Some team in desperate need of a quarterback will undoubtedly come calling if he does decide to become a free agent.
