According to ESPN's Marc Stein, Tony Romo will suit up for the Dallas Mavericks as the team plans to honor him after his retirement from the Cowboys earlier this week.

Romo won't actually play in the game, but he will be on the bench as the Mavericks take on the Denver Nuggets in the team's home-finale on Tuesday. Per Stein, the Mavericks are making the move since they are already out of contention for the Playoffs.
In lieu of football (and basketball, I guess), Romo will be continuing his professional career by joining the CBS broadcast booth. Romo is scheduled to take over for Phil Simms as a lead commentator, as well as offer an addition to the network's already robust coverage of golf.
The 37-year-old Romo retired from the NFL after his starting position with the Cowboys was usurped by rookie Dak Prescott. Despite Romo's history of injuries, he retires as one of the most prolific quarterbacks in history.
