Tony Romo makes Deflate-gate joke at American Country Music Awards show

Even after all of the Deflate-gate controversy, the New England Patriots ended up with the last laugh. Despite potentially playing with deflated balls in the AFC Championship, New England’s stonewall defense two weeks later on the one-yard line gave them a Super Bowl championship.

It’s crazy to think, but the Deflate-gate scandal is four months old now, and we haven’t stopped with the jokes. At the American Music Awards on Sunday night, Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo made a joke about deflated footballs.

After being questioned about the ball Luke Bryan caught, country star Blake Shelton asked Romo if he had deflated the football. Romo then proceeded to say, “Blake, we’re the Dallas Cowboys. We have real balls.”

No matter the size of their balls, the Patriots are the ones with the trophy.
