Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has won three Super Bowls, but his greatest accomplishment may be dating a pop star who some consider to be the most popular person in the world.
That would be no less than Taylor Swift.
The whole world knows about their relationship. But how did it come about?
Kelce suggested that, well, um, he doesn't really know.
No matter, Kelce did add that "he's super pleased with how it's all going." according to TMZ.
"He said he's having fun, 'flying high' ... and 'enjoying it all.'" the outlet reported. "He also said he was thrilled to help continue to bridge the NFL to Swifties — and vice versa."
Kelce and Swift began dating last summer, so they've been going strong for about a year now. And while she may not be into sports, she sure was into the Chiefs. Anyone who took in a game could see that much, for better or for worse.
Of course, everyone seems to have a little fun with Kelce's relationship with Swift, and that includes his friends.
They recently attempted to use the celebrity relationship against the NFL star in the best way possible — to distract him during a round of golf. It happened just as Kelce was getting ready to swing.
But guess what? It didn't work.
Instead, Kelce just started to sing along to Swift's song, Bad Blood.
Former NBA forward Chandler Parsons was among the group of golfers and shared a video of the fun on his Instagram Stories.
As the song played, Kelce blasted a shot across the fairway. Someone in the group could immediately be heard uttering, "This backfired." Kelce turned around and used his golf club as a guitar as he mouthed the lyrics. So yeah, it backfired, all right.
Parson captioned the video by accurately stating that Kelce "cannot be rattled."
Boy, ain't that the truth?
