Tyler Myers’ debut with the Winnipeg Jets could have gone much better. The Jets (28-19-10) lost to the the Nashville Predators (37-12-6) 3-1 Thursday and maybe more importantly they lost Myers in the process. Myers took a shot off the knee from Nashville’s hard shooting Shea Weber, taking him out of the game in the third period.
While Myers was in obvious pain it looks like the Jets dodged a bullet. In the grand scheme of hockey, a puck to the knee isn’t that bad of an injury, but the day after a team made a big trade for a player any injury concern is a scary one.
