Nabokov ‘happy I will retire a Shark’

The San Jose Sharks reacquired Evgeni Nabokov from the Tampa Bay Lightning earlier this week, allowing him the opportunity to retire the right way, as a Shark.  Nabokov went through a stretch in the 2000s were he was one of the NHL’s best goalies, including the ’07-’08 campaign when he led the league with 46 wins and was the Vezina runner-up to Martin Brodeur.

Nabokov helped lead the Sharks to two deep playoff runs including Western Conference finals in ’04 and ’10, and Nabokov will forever be one of the most beloved players in Sharks history.  A peak at his greatness for San Jose,
