Since his tenure under the WWE brand, which has only been a total of four years, Kevin Owens has held titles as NXT Champion, Intercontinental Champion, United States Champion, and Universal Champion. The rising WWE superstar has also been in feuds against the likes of Bill Goldberg, Chris Jericho, John Cena, AJ Styles, Shane McMahon, and Daniel Bryan, competing against Jericho at WrestleMania 33 and facing Shane & Bryan in a tag team match alongside Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 34.
Unfortunately, for Owens, he had to step away from WWE in October to repair his knee, which left him with an indefinite timeline for a return. However, there is now updated information on when he could be coming back, and it looks to be good news.

Wrestling Observer Radio (via Newsweek) is reporting that Owens is due to return in late-February. This is better than the original projection, which was eight months. With this timeline, Kevin Owens will be back in time for his first match back at WrestleMania 35 inside the MetLife Stadium.
When the Marieville, Quebec born wrestler does return to the main roster, he would most likely start fresh, due to his rival Bobby Lashley now being a villain. Owens was brutally attacked by Lashley following a match on Raw, which sparked Lashley's heel turn. A February return is enough time to commence a feud with someone else, unless the WWE is looking to turn him babyface and resume his feud with Bobby Lashley.
If he does stay heel, the shortage of strong babyfaces on the Raw roster could make it difficult to get stronger jeers playing the villain in professional wrestling. Currently, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Elias are the top babyfaces on the show. However, Elias is still shifting over to gain steam as a babyface, Balor is losing momentum as a top babyface, and Rollins has been recently rumored to compete against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, although that match could change.
