Even since WrestleMania III set the record for highest-attended indoor sports event in the world, WWE's flagship event continues to be one of the largest draws anywhere in sports. When WrestleMania 35 kicks off at MetLife Stadium on April 7, it's going to change sports entertainment once again.
After Becky Lynch won via disqualification over Charlotte Flair at WWE Fastlane, the WrestleMania 35 main event will be a triple threat match for the Raw Women's Championship. For the first time in history, three women — Lynch, Flair and current champion Ronda Rousey — will headline wrestling's biggest show in an all-women's main event.
For weeks, speculation has grown that Ronda Rousey, the first woman ever inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, will leave professional wrestling behind after her short-lived career. The company has built her storyline to this climactic moment at WrestleMania, and just like how she single-handedly created interest in UFC's women's division, she's now about to give WWE the same courtesy before exiting the company.

In one corner, Becky Lynch climbed the ranks from complete unknown into one of the women's division's most-popular attractions. WWE's storyline put her in the event, then she lost her chance via a short-lived suspension, and now is officially back in once again after Fastlane.
Charlotte Flair is the daughter of WWE legend Ric Flair, so she was born for the spotlight. She's a seven-time women's world champion, which is tied for the most all-time with WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
No matter who emerges victorious, this women's division will be jettisoned even higher in professional wrestling thanks to this long overdue main event.
When these three women take the ring, history is going to made. The WWE Universe will await the climax of this saga, which is sure to launch pro wrestling's women's division further into the spotlight at a time when WWE needs to find its next batch of superstars.
