Bubba Wallace and Ryan Blaney have been great friends for a while now, so when Blaney won the Coca-Cola 600 on May 29, Wallace was naturally happy for the Team Penske driver. But, Bubba, being the prankster that he is, couldn't give his pal a normal congratulations message. He had to do something just a little bit different.
The 23XI Racing driver ended up organizing a special Cameo video for Blaney, which featured appearances from Daniel Suárez, Landon Cassill, Kenny Wallace, and Sam Mayer. Only their congratulatory messages had nothing to do with Ryan's victory at Charlotte Motor Speedway at all.
Tried calling @Blaney to congratulate him on his win this weekendβ¦
He didnβt answer so I hired some familiar faces on Cameo to πππππππππππ help me congratulate him on his βmarathonβ instead. pic.twitter.com/dazRGtrfcG

Clearly, the drivers had no idea that Bubba Wallace himself was requesting the video, or that Ryan Blaney was who they were supposed to be congratulating. They just thought some random guy named "Darrell" was paying them to congratulate some random guy named "Ryan" for finishing a marathon. Naturally, once Bubba uploaded the video to Twitter, the cat was out of the bag, and Cassill, who drives for Kaulig Racing in the Xfinity Series, didn't take long to reply to the post.
"Damnit, I knew something was up with this," he wrote.
Jokes aside, Blaney's big win at the Coke 600 was huge for the Cup Series driver, as he snapped his 59-race winless streak and also helped pull off the historic double victory for Team Penske, as Josef Newgarden also won the Indianapolis 500 several days prior.
All in all, Bubba's Cameo video was a nice and hilarious gesture, but it will be interesting to see what Ryan ends up doing to get Bubba back.
