In a surprise tweet on Wednesday morning, Stewart-Haas Racing driver Chase Briscoe had a little something to say to his boss.
Briscoe and SHR co-owner Tony Stewart have been involved in a number of commercials for Chase's sponsor, Mahindra Tractors, throughout the past two years. Most of these ads show the three-time NASCAR Cup Series champion put Briscoe through some crazy tractor-based shenanigans, dumping everything from a bunch of fan mail to a pile of trophies. With a wink and a nod to those hilarious TV spots, Briscoe had a special surprise for Stewart, which he revealed via a video message on Twitter.

"Alright, boss man, or should I say old GOAT?," Briscoe begins the video. "You've been giving me a hard time the last two years while we were filming all these awesome Mahindra commercials. ... Now that you're in the booth for Talledega, I figured it's a great time to get back at you."
Stewart will be making a return to the Fox NASCAR booth this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway, and Briscoe revealed an awesome paint scheme honoring the NASCAR Hall of Famer.
"I think you are going to enjoy this paint scheme as it runs around Talladega," Briscoe said as the first look at the race car was unveiled.
The car's paint scheme features some of the comedic aspects used in the Mahindra commercials, including the fan mail skit. It also features a cartoon image of Tony "Old GOAT" Stewart in a red robe on the sides of the race car. This idea seems to have been a long time coming, as Briscoe pitched the idea to Stewart-Haas Racing and Mahindra Tractors a little while back. Briscoe admitted, "The first scheme we came up with wasn't quite 'PG' so we had to tame it back a bit."
While Tony no doubt appreciates Chase's tribute, this might not be the end of the fun back-and-forth between the driver and owner, as Stewart responded with a tweet of his own: "Ok ok, you got me this time."
