There are a few natural problems when attempting a quick-kick. There defense is much closer to the kicker, and well... so are the blockers.
Yep, the guy's teammate just wandered right in front of him while he was trying to kick it, and the kick was blocked by his own teammate's butt. The opposing team was able to scoop and score for six the other way.
Yikes.
