Report: Marc Gasol does not want to head west to L.A.

The Los Angeles Lakers are in the market for a big man during this summer's free agency and they've already made it clear they are willing to give up a lot to get one. Most believe that LaMarcus Aldridge is option A, but they were looking at Marc Gasol as a solid plan B. However, that's probably not a good idea for them according to Mike Bresnahan of the Los Angeles Times since "Marc Gasol has no interest in the Lakers because of the uneasy last few years his brother spent with them, according to numerous people familiar with the situation."

If you remember, Pau Gasol had a good few years at the beginning of his tenure with the Lakers winning two championship. In the last few years his name kept coming up in trade rumors regularly until he finally bolted in free agency to head to Chicago to play with the Bulls. Even with no love for the Lakers, there will be plenty of suitors for Marc Gasol as he averaged 17.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks last season with the Grizzlies and was named to the All-NBA First Team.
