Report: The LSU Tigers had a huge Saturday and got commitments from three sought-after recruits

The Tigers roar with this recruiting haul

LSU had a huge Saturday, as three recruits from one school, all ranked in the top 20 in Louisiana, have announced they're becoming Tigers in 2018, according to SEC Country.

David Cotton, Micah Baskerville and ArDarius Washington — all from Evangel (La.) Academy in Shreveport — committed to LSU during the "Boys from the Boot" event. The three helped their team to the state title in 2016.

Here's a rundown of each player, with all ratings based on 247 composite rankings:

Cotton: The defensive tackle goes 6'1, 262 pounds, and is the lone 4-star recruit of the bunch, the No. 6 overall prospect in the state and, overall, the No. 20 ranked prospect at his position.

Baskerville: The three-star recruit is an inside linebacker who goes 6'2, 215 pounds. He's the No. 17 prospect in the state, and the  N0. 18 prospect at his position.

Washington: Also a three-star, the defensive back goes 5'10, 175 pounds and is the No. 18-ranked prospect in the state and No. 26 at his position.

The Tigers certainly roared on Saturday.
