Three teams reportedly in “active discussion” on Bulls star Jimmy Butler

One team seems to have the assets to land him

The NBA trade deadline is less than two days away, and Chicago Bulls guard Jimmy Butler is involved in multiple trade conversations.

Reporter Mike Adamle tweeted that the three teams actively pursuing Butler are the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets.

The Lakers are expected to be a player for Butler after Magic Johnson was added to the franchise's front office.

The Celtics have been the team most often linked with Butler, and they have the most assets to offer for the All-Star. It's possible the Bulls choose to keep Butler, but if any star player is traded this week, Butler is the most likely target.
